Originally we were going to be finishing up our time here in the UK in October, as that would be when our three years would be up. But, since the baby is due mid-August, that would make things a bit more complicated what with trans-Atlantic flights, house hunting, etc. So the time table has been moved up a bit. Bill’s last day at work here in the UK will be June 11, we will fly back to the US for good on June 12, and he will start his new job back in the US on June 14!! I am very, very, very glad to be going home, especially to not be having the baby in the NHS system. Let’s just say I am not a fan of socialized medicine and leave it at that.
Of course, that means we have a LOT to do in the next two months. We’ll be going back to the US for a house-hunting trip in a couple of weeks, which is exciting but a little overwhelming. Actually, that could pretty much sum up most of my feelings about the whole move!
